Wedding Vendor Favorite : Precious Moment Weddings

I had the chance to work with Tiffany Matsuda from Precious Moment Weddings last year.  I loved her work, her setup, her organization…and HER!  She was so easy to get along with and very easy to talk to when I had questions.  She kept everything moving along well and on time.  So important in a wedding.

She just had a little baby boy, and is rocking those weddings.  Here is the wedding we worked on together and some questions from her at the bottom.

  • How long have you been doing wedding planning?

I’ve been a wedding planner for about 5 years.

  • What made you want to become a wedding planner?

My passion for wedding planning started when I started coordinating my family and friends weddings. I love being behind the scenes and making sure that everything turns out as perfect as can be…but most of all, seeing how happy the couple is at the end of night. Every bride and groom has their own vision of what they want their wedding to look like, so each wedding is very unique in it’s own way.

  • Describe the best wedding you planned.
Lisa and Matts wedding was my first official planned wedding at Halekulani. They were both from Seattle and so It was fun introducing them and their guest to Hawaii’s beauty.
  • What are your favorite type of wedding to plan?
My favorite type of wedding to plan is an estate wedding, you can design your venue to anything you want down to the color of your chairs. It’s takes a lot of planning but when a bride and groom have their own vision, the out come it priceless.
  • Are you at the wedding all day?
Yes, on the day of the wedding, I am there from the moment the first vendor arrives on site till the last vendor leaves.
  • Is it just you or do you have a team?
It’s mainly just me but on the “day of” I always have an amazing assistant (or 2) that is there to assist me, since I can’t always do and be everywhere at the same time.
  • How is it working within a budget?
Working within a budget is very realistic but most of the time a bride and groom want a little more than the budget can give.
Got to spend some time with her and her cute little son Mason.  Thanks for coming out Tiffany!
