My first digital camera was the Canon Rebel.  It was my go to camera when I wanted to learn more about photography.  I kept upgrading until I was able to get the Canon 5D, which was my first full frame camera.  The quality and the look of it is amazing!  Of course I was still upgrading after that.

Since then, I’ve used many different cameras.  I am obsessed with old film cameras and have a collection of them.  I also have a Sony digital camera as well that I take with me on vacation.

I’m not sure if I have a favorite lens,  I love them all and use them for different reasons.  I love prime lenses (fixed focal length lens that does not allow you to zoom in or out)…they’re very sharp.

My first prime lens was the 50mm 1.2  It’s still my go to lens and I take that everywhere with me and if I need to use it for low lighting, like at receptions.

The 35mm is great for all around, getting ready shots as well as group shots.

The 85mm is great for portraits and getting that awesome background blur.

The 135mm is so great for ceremony shots, especially when I can’t get close to the couple.

The 16-35mm f2.8 lens is my only zoom lens and is my wide angle for big family group shots, bridal party photos and sunset shots.  I LOVE how it captures all of the sky as well as my couple and and the background.
